A Sheer Situation in NYC

I haven’t taken these rings off since I got them. (Nialaya)… Yes, I’m sweating.

I know it seems excessively egocentric to post a headshot, (I mean, this is literally just a photo of my face), but I LOOOOVE all the taxis captured in the background. Such a cool shot by Taylor Donohue. I have a love affair with NYC, so just accept it.

And honestly, I’m pretty sure that in the thesaurus, the word “blog” is synonymous with narcissism.

So whatevs…

I had to suck in a lot for these photos.

I’ve followed Danielle Bernstein‘s WeWoreWhat.com for ages… and I know bloggers can often seem unapproachable & aloof (I mean, OBVS, these girls are stunning with incredible closets; and their Instagrams make me want to crawl under a rock and make besties with whatever centipede will have me). But Danielle was so personable, kind… and real. Basically, I wanted to scoop her up and take her to a bottomless bloody mary brunch (where I would obviously hope/assume she’d get buzzed enough to hand over her wardrobe).

Ughhhh, I’m seriously missing NYC… like, a lot. Just looking at the cobble stone streets and taxis in the background of my photos makes me feel major FOMO (which I feel like I’m normally immune to, as I subscribe to JOMO aka Joy of Missing Out). SOUPS excited to say I’ll be back in a month for a special quick trip. Anyway, this outfit y’all. I saw this skirt on the rack, and was all over it. Yes, it’s tight, and you can’t get Taco Bell late at night while wearing it, but it is just plain gorgeous. I love the sheer mixed with the extra fabric detailing on the side. I just feel like there are  million things you could pair it with. An oversized sweater and booties when it’s cool out? Yes, please.

And can I just sign off by saying I love mixing and matching unintended pieces? Please see: standard grey pearl earrings with one random rose gold backing. I totally suggest you take a good look at your jewelry box and see if you have any earrings or pieces that you could mix and match unexpectedly. Style is always personal, so switch it up! 🙂

  1. Simply Gorgeous.. 🙂 The Perfect Look & truly you’re looking outstanding.

  2. Sooo pretty. Your makeup and hair is always flawless. I think you should do a beauty blog too or incorporate it in. You always look polished and beautiful! That skirt is everything and the top is very versatile.

  3. You’re so pretty it’s not fair! For reals that outfit is everything & more! The skirt….nuff said. You look so tall & slender…the pic right before your “all grey pearls on one side” lloks like a billboard ad lit up in Times Square – I don’t think anyone could look that gorge! Lucky bitch 🙂

  4. Not only do I love the skirt, but that top… The first photo did actually remind me of Sex in the City, but instead of Carrie being the main character it’s Stassi, love it.Support excite that you returned to Vanderpump Rules.

  5. Your make up looks flawless!! I know on your podcast you say you use Make Up Forever…what products exactly do you use? I’ve never used that brand before…can you share? =)

  6. Stassi, simply put, incredible! You make the outfit! I looked at the skirt on Line+Dot. Just okay on their model. But you’re able to take it to a higher level of elegance and sexy. Did you hem the skirt even shorter or are your legs just miles long? I have to agree with Jocelyn, you’re flawless! Love it.

  7. I’m embarrassed to admit this but since my health took a turn for the worse, I stopped caring about fashion (steroids have ruined my body ). I have to say that you’ve made me perk up and take interest again. You always have such a unique perspective. I also admire you for ditching reality tv to forge your own dreams (your old co-workers do not seem to be pursuing their goals anymore in favor of being a T personality…ew) . You definitely need your own platform on a bigger stage. You’re absolutely gorgeous yet approachable and I love that you have zero filter. Seriously, this world needs more Stassi! All your looks during fashion week were flawless. You’re like a piece of living Art! Yo may not be able to dress like that again but you’re personality and style have given me a glimmer of hope and happiness. Thanks babe!

  8. I love all your photos your so much more beautifull, elegant, stylish, honest, professional.. then all the cast on the show #Vanderpump#, you go girl!!
