Lets disregard the fact that I’m SOUPS into dressing like Serena Van der Woodsen and get to the real issue.

Kitten Heels

I know kitten heels get a bad rap, but I am here to do my due diligence to rectify this crap of an unfair assessment. I am going to wave my kitten heel flag high, and attempt to sway you to my side. What is so wrong with the kitten heel? I often hear “old lady” or “unsexy”, but I think they are misunderstood. Now I’m not saying every kitten heel is going to be on top of its game, I’m just saying, I happen to love them…when they’re good. And this Topshop pair is actually my new UHBSESSION. (Beautiful tan suede with a black lace up, ugh, I’m in heaven).

I personally feel like they are THE best daytime shoes. I don’t want to wear heels during the day, that shit’s annoying and uncomfortable; & as much as I’m obsessed with fashion, I still need to be able to function. I love a good flat, I mean, obviously. But I LOVE the way a teeny tiny heel elongates my legs even if it is just an inch. HENCE my love for an interesting kitten heel. I can walk in these all day long, I like the slight lift, and I feel chic as fuck. That’s right, I said chic as f-u-c-k on a fashion blog. As much as I love my flats, I still feel slightly stumpy when I wear them. With kitten heels, I have an extra pep in my step, and I feel a little more sexy and polished. I think the right kitten heel shows that you care about what you’re wearing. And I also think it shows confidence, because ladies, they are not the most popular option.

But it’s got my vote.

Ride or die, kitten heels.

  1. Girl please bring kitten heels back into the limelight. I’m 5’9″ and SOOOOO over the mega high heel. First of all it’s uncomfortable as F-U-C-K and dangerous to be walking around in heels that damn high. Plus I feel like the damn jolly green giant that’s towering over everyone but anything shorter feels frumpy now a days. I for one vote for the kitten heel!

  2. Finally, someone who doesn’t hate kitten heels or flats. When you see bloggers talk about how much they hate flats or kitten heels I just think to myself “they obliviously don’t do anything than sit at their apartment and order shit offline”. I love fashion , however, I walk a lot, I live in NYC and I am broke, so I can’t take taxis and ubers everywhere. If I still want to be able to eat.
I do like those kitten heels, right now the lace up flats are doing something for me. Once again, glad to see that you’re going to be back on Vanderpump Rules. I know you’re not trying to be BFF with everyone, but you need to set your side of the story straight.

  3. Thank you so much for rocking these kitten heels! As a girl who is 5’11, I can be self-consciously tall in heels, but get really tired of flats all the time. I love a good kitten heel when done right! I once heard Lauren Conrad say that, “kitten heels are the mullet of shoes. ” I was so pissed – that girl needs to get SHOOK! Granted, it is hard to find a pair of kitten heels that are cute and stylish, but these are perfect! Will be ordering these ASAP 🙂

BTW – glad you are back on Vanderpump Rules – wasn’t sure I could watch it without you!

  4. Stassi I loooove this outfit and just ordered the shoes! Absolutely amazing and so are you!!
