I had such an amazing weekend, you guys. I spent the last 5 days in Chicago & Michigan, and I truly am in love with the midwest. I think I may be a little biased because I was there with my boyfriend’s family, and I have totally lucked out in that department, but FOR REALS, I think I may be a new midwest ride or die girl. I love the laid back attitude, I love the down-home bars and local spots. It’s just real life to me. I feel my happiest when I’m with good people in a great town. But let’s talk fashion…
I’m super anal and uptight about my travel wardrobe. I need to have this perfect balance of comfort and chicness. I could never be one of those people who travel in sweats and uggs (though I am envious of them), I just can’t do it. I feel my best when I have a polished look that has a dash of trendiness. Because I have this weird travel wardrobe sitch going on, I thought I might share with you my HOLY GRAIL of an outfit. Skinny jeans, comfy flat snakeskin mules, classic white trench, chic neutral handbag, monogrammed sky blue tote, gold sunnies, pretty rings, & PERSONALIZED headphones?!?! Yep. Personalized headphones.
I have no shame in the personalized game. I love Gigi New York because they have given us girls the option to personalize our handbags with our initials for ages. But I have just recently come across V-MODA. These headphones are AH-MAZING. They aren’t just high quality in the sound (super DJ legit) but the look is just incredible. You can switch out the shields in an abundance of different colors and engrave it with almost anything. I chose a white pair, with a gold shield and my blog’s logo. How subtly fab is that? I seriously recommend you try these out. I’ve never been more excited to get on a plane than I was last week just because I wanted to wear my new headphones. Seriously.
