Lets disregard the fact that I’m SOUPS into dressing like Serena Van der Woodsen and get to the real issue.
I know kitten heels get a bad rap, but I am here to do my due diligence to rectify this crap of an unfair assessment. I am going to wave my kitten heel flag high, and attempt to sway you to my side. What is so wrong with the kitten heel? I often hear “old lady” or “unsexy”, but I think they are misunderstood. Now I’m not saying every kitten heel is going to be on top of its game, I’m just saying, I happen to love them…when they’re good. And this Topshop pair is actually my new UHBSESSION. (Beautiful tan suede with a black lace up, ugh, I’m in heaven).

I personally feel like they are THE best daytime shoes. I don’t want to wear heels during the day, that shit’s annoying and uncomfortable; & as much as I’m obsessed with fashion, I still need to be able to function. I love a good flat, I mean, obviously. But I LOVE the way a teeny tiny heel elongates my legs even if it is just an inch. HENCE my love for an interesting kitten heel. I can walk in these all day long, I like the slight lift, and I feel chic as fuck. That’s right, I said chic as f-u-c-k on a fashion blog. As much as I love my flats, I still feel slightly stumpy when I wear them. With kitten heels, I have an extra pep in my step, and I feel a little more sexy and polished. I think the right kitten heel shows that you care about what you’re wearing. And I also think it shows confidence, because ladies, they are not the most popular option.
But it’s got my vote.
Ride or die, kitten heels.
